Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Shazzadul Sagor ("we", "us") about using TabBuddy AI ("TabBuddy"), the Chrome extension, and this website. By installing TabBuddy or buying a license, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TabBuddy.

The trial and the free plan

When you install TabBuddy, you get every Pro feature free for 7 days. No payment details are needed. After the trial, TabBuddy keeps working on a free plan with fewer features. Nothing you saved is deleted when the trial ends.

Your Pro license

When you buy Pro for $5, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TabBuddy's Pro features:

• For life. The license has no expiry date and no recurring fee. It covers TabBuddy's Pro features for as long as we offer TabBuddy, including the updates we release.
• On up to 3 computers you use. You can move it from one computer to another from Settings → Plan.
• For you. Please don't share, resell or publish your license key. We may deactivate a key that's being shared or was obtained fraudulently.

Payments

Lemon Squeezy sells TabBuddy Pro as our merchant of record and handles payment, taxes and receipts. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms. Prices are in US dollars and may include taxes where you live.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. See the refund policy.

AI providers and your API keys

TabBuddy's on-device AI is provided by Google Chrome, and whether it can run depends on your browser and computer. If you add your own API key for Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, your use of that service is between you and the provider: their terms apply, and you pay them for what you use. AI can be wrong. Check what it suggests before you rely on it; TabBuddy shows you its plan before it closes or suspends anything.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Copy, modify, redistribute or resell TabBuddy, except as the law allows.
• Bypass, disable or interfere with the license and plan checks.
• Use TabBuddy to break the law or anyone else's rights.

Your data

Your data is yours. TabBuddy keeps it in your browser and doesn't send it to us. The privacy policy explains what it stores and when anything leaves your browser.

Changes to TabBuddy

We keep improving TabBuddy, so features may change. Chrome and Google may also change the browser features TabBuddy relies on, which can affect what it can do. We'll describe notable changes in the changelog.

No warranty

TabBuddy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make it reliable, and TabBuddy offers Undo for its actions, but we can't promise it will always work without errors, or that a closed tab or a saved session can always be recovered.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of TabBuddy, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Ending these terms

You can stop using TabBuddy at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your license if you seriously break these terms, and if we do, we'll tell you why.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll say so in the changelog. Continuing to use TabBuddy after a change means you accept the new terms.
